Following allegations that the London Marathon was hit by doping, Mo Farah and seven other British athletes release data from their anti-doping blood tests.

Double Olympic champion Mo Farah is one of eight British athletes to have made anti-doping blood-test results public following allegations of doping within the London Marathon.

Farah, as well as Jo Pavey, Andy Baddeley, Hatti Archer, Freya Murray, Lisa Dobriskey, Emma Jackson and Jenny Meadows, have given permission to release data from their blood tests.

The decision comes in the wake of allegations made by The Sunday Times that some athletes could have been using illegal substances when taking part in the London Marathon.

"The decision to release my results is a personal one," Farah told the newspaper. "I've always said that I'm happy to do what it takes to prove that I'm a clean athlete.

"It's sad that these allegations have been made at all because they bring down the sport I love, where most of the athletes don't break the rules and work really hard to achieve what they do."

Twenty of Farah's blood tests that were taken between June 2005 and May 2012 did not contain any suspicious samples.

There are no indications that the athletes who decided against making their blood-test data public are involved in doping.
