Adam Gemili has broken the 100m 10-second barrier for the first time in his career.
The Brit became the 100th sprinter to break the landmark time at the Diamond League meeting in Birmingham this afternoon, finish second in the final behind USA'S Marvin Bracy.
However, Gemili fell after lunging for the finish line and stayed down with what looked like a hamstring injury.
He was attended to by medical personnel, who then wheeled him off to a rapturous reception at the Alexander Stadium.
His time of 9.97s means that he becomes the first British athlete to have broken the 10-second barrier in the 100m as well as the 20-second barrier in 200m.
Gemili's compatriot Richard Kilty also posted a personal best of 10.05s, but was forced to settle for fifth place, one ahead of fellow Brit Chijindu Ujah.
Michael Rodgers capped off the top three, finishing in exactly the same time as Gemili.
