Paul Millsap will reportedly need shoulder surgery in the off-season now that the Atlanta Hawks are no longer involved in the NBA playoffs.
The power forward missed the end of the regular season with a sprained shoulder, before returning for post-season contests with the Brooklyn Nets, Washington Wizards and Cleveland Cavaliers.
According to Bleacher Report, the previous sprain has not healed properly, resulting in speculation that the 30-year-old will need an operation to correct the problem this summer.
Millsap has averaged 15.2 points per game in 16 post-season appearances this season.
