The Atlanta Hawks have been dealt a blow with the news that both Mike Muscala and Thabo Sefolosha will miss Thursday's game against the New York Knicks on Thursday.
Mike Budenholzer's side started the season with a 106-94 defeat to the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night, but they were also left frustrated by an ankle injury suffered by Muscala, who did not travel to New York with his teammates.
Sefolosha returned to action after breaking his leg in an altercation with police in April, but he will sit out the game against the Knicks due to an ankle problem.
Muscala took to Twitter on Wednesday to reassure supporters that he is not expected to miss an extended stretch of games.
The Knicks started their season with a 122-97 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night.
