The Atlanta Hawks have re-signed Mike Scott after the forward almost doubled his scoring average last season with the franchise.
While terms of the deal were not released, Hawks general manager Danny Ferry revealed that the coaching staff were impressed with the 26-year-old's ability to expand his game.
"We are very happy to have him with us going forward and we look forward to his continued growth with our group," Ferry said, ESPN reports.
Scott averaged 9.6 points per game last season, which was an improvement from 4.6 as a rookie as he started six of his 80 games while also averaging 3.6 rebounds.
