Atlanta Hawks rookie guard Dennis Schroder has received a one-game suspension for hitting Sacramento Kings star DeMarcus Cousins.
The NBA made an official announcement on Thursday, after the incident occurred during the Hawks' 105-100 win on Tuesday night.
Schroder was suspended for "striking DeMarcus Cousins of the Sacramento Kings in the groin", according to the official statement.
While Cousins was upset that the call wasn't made on the court, Schroder has now received punishment and will be fined a game's pay.
