The Atlanta Hawks have taken the lead in their playoff series against the Indiana Pacers, beating the Eastern Conference's top seeds 98-85.
There was little to separate the two sides in the first half, as the hosts led by a single point at the end of the second quarter.
However, Jeff Teague and Kyle Korver both made a quick start after the break, helping Atlanta open up an eight-point advantage heading into the fourth quarter.
Lance Stephenson and Luis Scola tried to cut the lead late on, but George Hill made just one of his 11 shots from the field, while Roy Hibbert also missed a string of chances.
The sides meet again at the Philips Arena tomorrow.
