The Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks have reportedly opened talks over a trade involving Rajon Rondo.
The point guard is in the final year of his contract with the Celtics, who he has played for since being drafted in 2006.
According to ESPN, the two teams have been discussing a deal which would see the Mavericks send several Draft picks, including a first-round selection, to Boston for the 28-year-old.
Rondo has averaged 8.3 points per game so far this season.
