The Miami Heat have extended their Eastern Conference semi-final lead over the Brooklyn Nets to 2-0 with a 94-82 win at the AmericanAirlines Arena.
The visitors made the better start to the game, as Mirza Teletovic and Shaun Livingston helped the Nets to a six-point advantage by the end of the first quarter.
However, Brooklyn were hurt by Deron Williams's struggles, as he failed to make any of his nine shots from the field, allowing the two-time defending champions to cut their lead to one point by half time.
The Heat were dominant in the fourth quarter, with LeBron James and Chris Bosh combining for 40 points to pull away from the Nets in the final 12 minutes.
The Nets will play at home for the first time in the series when the teams meet again tomorrow night.
