Charlotte Hornets small forward Jeffery Taylor has been banned from team-related activities following his arrest on domestic assault charges.
Taylor was reportedly arrested on Thursday, with a press release from East Lansing Police stating that the 25-year-old was being charged with one count of domestic assault, one count of assault and one count of malicious destruction of property.
"As an organisation, we understand and appreciate the seriousness of this matter, and will assist the NBA and law enforcement in any way we can until this comes to an acceptable resolution," said the Hornets in a statement.
The ban will continue as the NBA investigates the third-year player's situation and the alleged offences.
