Chicago Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich has revealed that he is now anxious for training camp to get underway.
The 32-year-old had a major role for the Bulls last season during Derrick Rose's absence through injury.
While he is expected to play a reduced part this year as Rose prepares for his comeback, it hasn't lessened his excitement ahead of training camp.
"It's almost here. You ready for it? I feel really good. I think I've used the offseason to manage the time fairly well. I have a lot of energy, my body's feeling good," he told CSNChicago.com.
"I've been feeling good on the court, so at this point, you're always looking forward to next year. You start getting real anxious when you get to two, three weeks left to go before training camp."
Hinrich is expected to rival Jimmy Butler for a place in the starting lineup this season, after the latter emerged as one of the most improved players in the league.
