Derrick Rose has claimed that he has increased the height of his vertical leap ahead of the new NBA season.
The Chicago Bulls point guard has recently returned to action after over a year on the sidelines with a knee injury and believes that he has improved the way he attacks the net.
"I think I jump higher," Rose said shortly after recording 13 points in 20 minutes during the Bulls' 82-76 pre-season victory against the Indiana Pacers.
"I think coming into the league I was at 37 [inches vertical jump] and they tested my vertical at [a training facility], I'm probably at like a 42, so I'm jumping a little bit higher."
Rose was voted the league's MVP in the 2010-11.
