JR Smith has said that Kyrie Irving's return was one of the "most important factors" in the Cleveland Cavaliers' 118-88 win over the Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference finals.
The point guard recovered from a knee tendinitis issue to feature in game four, helping the team clinch only their second NBA Finals appearance in the team's history.
Smith said at his post-game press conference: "Having Kyrie back is one of the most important factors. He's a huge piece to this puzzle we have. It's good to see him moving the way he wants to move.
"As far as us hitting shots, that's the type of team we are. We've got one of the greatest players ever to play the game, and to penetrate and attack and do things he does, all we have to do is make shots.
"It's one of the easiest things in basketball to do, is to make an open shot. So it's only right."
The Cavaliers will have to wait to see whether they will face the Golden State Warriors or the Houston Rockets in the Finals.
