Mike Brown has said that Anthony Bennett is starting to live up to being the top pick in last year's Draft.
The Cleveland Cavaliers forward, who was the first Canadian to be selected with the first overall pick in an NBA Draft, scored a career-high 19 points and 10 rebounds during the team's 109-99 win over the Sacramento Kings.
The team's coach told reporters: "You're starting to see a little bit of what we see in practice and the reason why we drafted him. He's a talented young man and he's starting to come to life a little bit. He's even better than what you saw tonight."
Bennett, who missed the summer league while recovering from off-season shoulder surgery, has averaged 3.8 points per game in his 40 appearances for the Cavaliers so far this season.
