Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Tuesday night's action in the NBA.

The Miami Heat dominated the fourth quarter of their game against the Phoenix Suns to claim the win.

The sides had been closely matched throughout the meeting, but LeBron James finished with his highest scoring game of 2014, helping the defending NBA champions seal the win with just over 40 seconds left to play.

The Oklahoma City Thunder needed a late three-pointer to seal victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.

In the final regular-season meeting between the two sides, Kevin Durant added 36 points, while Jeremy Lamb found the target with just over 90 seconds left to play, ensuring the win for the Western Conference leaders.

A quick start helped the Chicago Bulls to a win over the Atlanta Hawks, extending their winning run to four games.

The home side led by 16 points after just the first quarter, which was too much for the Hawks to fight back from, while Joakim Noah finished the game with 19 points.

The Los Angeles Lakers fell to their sixth consecutive home defeat with a heavy loss to the Utah Jazz.

The visitors dominated the second quarter, outscoring their injury-hit opponents 32-10 to open up a big lead, before Alec Burks had a late run for the Jazz to pile further misery on the Lakers.

The Charlotte Bobcats cruised to a comfortable win over the Dallas Mavericks at the Time Warner Cable Arena.

The Bobcats were just two points ahead of the end of the first quarter, but Al Jefferson led the way as they opened up a commanding advantage on their way to a 25-point victory.

The Cleveland Cavaliers took their third straight win with victory over the Sacramento Kings.

The top pick in last year's Draft, Anthony Bennett, had a career-high 19 points and 10 rebounds to avenge the team's 44-point defeat to the Kings earlier in the season.

The Memphis Grizzlies survived a strong finish from the Washington Wizards to secure a narrow win.

The Grizzlies had a 13-point lead at half time before Bradley Beal brought the visitors back into contention with a career-best 37 points, but it was not enough for Washington to avoid the defeat.

Results in full: Dallas Mavericks 89-114 Charlotte Bobcats, Sacramento Kings 99-109 Cleveland Cavaliers, Atlanta Hawks 85-100 Chicago Bulls, Washington Wizards 89-92 Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat 103-97 Phoenix Suns, Oklahoma City Thunder 98-95 Portland Trail Blazers, Utah Jazz 96-79 Los Angeles Lakers
