Kevin Love has confirmed that he will be talking to the Cleveland Cavaliers at the end of the NBA Finals and expects to stay with the team next season.
The power forward can opt out of his current deal with the Eastern Conference champions this offseason, with recent reports claiming that he will test the free agency market.
However, the 26-year-old told ESPN: "It's just the way the world works now. People talk so much and might tell themselves a lie so much they start to believe it.
"From there, the narrative starts to change. I haven't changed my narrative. I'm going to keep supporting these guys, and we'll be talking to Cleveland after the season.
"I had so much fun watching [the NBA Finals] because I want to be in a moment like that. I'd rather be out there helping those guys, and I saw a lot of places where I could help. I've never wanted to be in a game more than that one."
Love is currently recovering from surgery after suffering a separated shoulder in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
