The Denver Nuggets are on the verge of sealing their maiden NBA title thanks to a 108-95 win over the Miami Heat in Game 4 of the 2023 Finals.
Michael Malone's team returned to rival turf at Kaseya Center holding a 2-1 lead from their opening three affairs with the Heat, who edged the first quarter by one point in front of the home crowd.
However, the Aaron Gordon-inspired Nuggets turned the tie on its head to extend their series advantage to 3-1, leaving them one game away from glory.
Gordon led the way for the Denver franchise with a career-high 27 points, while Nikola Jokic - who already has two triple-doubles to his name in the Finals - contributed 23 points and 12 rebounds.
Jamal Murray posted his own double-double with 15 points and 12 assists - hitting double figures in the latter for the fourth game running - while Bruce Brown came off the bench to brilliant effect with another 21 points.
Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo unsurprisingly spearheaded the Heat effort with 25 and 20 points respectively, but Erik Spoelstra's men cut dejected figures at the end as their title dreams slipped further away.
The Nuggets have the chance to seal the NBA title when they return to Ball Arena for Game 5 on Monday night.
