Stephen Curry: Golden State Warriors must be "smart" against LeBron James

Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry says that the team need to be "smart" when playing against LeBron James in the NBA Finals.

Stephen Curry has said that the Golden State Warriors have to be "smart" when using double coverage against LeBron James in the NBA Finals.

The Western Conference champions struggled to stop the four-time MVP scoring in the first three games of the series as he added 123 points, but he was restricted to 20 in the Cleveland Cavaliers' 103-82 loss in game four.

Current league MVP Curry told NBC Sports: "You've got to be smart about it because you know how smart he is in reading situations and being able to pick you apart with his drives and his court vision.

"But once definitely, once he's committed to a move, he maybe puts his head down and tries to go through a guy, you can help in that situation because it's harder to pass out of that type of offense.

"You don't want to double when he's facing up to the basket and can see everybody, because he obviously can make pretty much any pass in the book. So if you allow him to see everything right in front of him, that's where he hurts you. So you want to avoid those situations."

The teams meet again later today with the series tied at 2-2.
