Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Wednesday's games in the NBA.

The Golden State Warriors made it eight wins in a row as they crushed the Miami Heat for their 31st victory of the NBA season.

The team with the best record in the league never looked like losing as they eased to a 19-point advantage in the second quarter, while Stephen Curry added seven three-pointers to finish with 32.

The Los Angeles Clippers needed a late push to edge to victory over the Portland Trail Blazers at the Moda Center.

The visitors had been six points down late on, but Jamal Crawford put them ahead with less than four minutes remaining, cancelling out a 37-point performance from LaMarcus Aldridge.

The San Antonio Spurs ended the Charlotte Hornets' five-game winning streak following a strong first-half performance at the Time Warner Cable Arena.

Manu Ginobili led the scoring for the NBA champions, finishing the game with 27 points after helping the visitors to a 12-point lead at the break, which was enough for the Spurs to see out the win.

The Atlanta Hawks maintained their lead at the top of the Eastern Conference after securing their 10th win in a row with a victory over the Boston Celtics.

The visitors were in control either side of half time to open up a lead as DeMarre Carroll and Jeff Teague each scored 22, maintaining Atlanta's longest stretch without a defeat since the 1997-98 season.

The Washington Wizards beat the Chicago Bulls for the second time in six days, leaving the Bulls with four losses in their last five games.

Derrick Rose helped Chicago to an 11-point lead in the first half on his way to a season-high 32, but Paul Pierce led the Wizards' fightback, before John Wall added a late run of points.

The Orlando Magic came from behind in the fourth quarter to secure a win over the Houston Rockets, ending a run of six games without a victory.

Houston were a point up at the start of the final quarter, but Victor Oladipo and Nikola Vucevic kept the points coming late on as the Magic outscored their opponents 36-28 in the last 12 minutes.

The Memphis Grizzlies eased to a comfortable win over the Brooklyn Nets, who have now lost their last seven games.

The visitors looked the stronger of the two sides from the start, opening up a nine-point lead by the end of the first quarter, which the Nets never threatened to overturn.

DeMar DeRozan returned from a two-month layoff with a groin injury to lead the Toronto Raptors to a win over the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Canadian side never trailed as they eased to the victory, and DeRozan ensured that the Sixers did not make a late run, scoring eight of his 20 points in the fourth quarter.

The Denver Nuggets secured a fifth straight win as they clinched a win over a weakened Dallas Mavericks side.

The visitors rested some of their starters, allowing Ty Lawson to dominate the scoring for Denver with 29, while Kenneth Faried finished with 22.

Anthony Davis ensured that the New Orleans Pelicans cruised to a win over the Detroit Pistons, who had won nine of their last 10 games heading into the fixture.

Davis picked up 27 points and 10 rebounds as the visitors dominated before the break with their 18-point lead at half time proving too much for the visitors.

Results in full: San Antonio Spurs 98-93 Charlotte Hornets, Houston Rockets 113-120 Orlando Magic, Memphis Grizzlies 103-92 Brooklyn Nets, New Orleans Pelicans 105-94 Detroit Pistons, Philadelphia 76ers 84-100 Toronto Raptors, Washington Wizards 105-99 Chicago Bulls, Atlanta Hawks 105-91 Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks 107-114 Denver Nuggets, Miami Heat 89-104 Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers 100-94 Portland Trail Blazers
