Sports Mole rounds up Friday evening's action from the NBA.

The Golden State Warriors won their 14th consecutive game in the NBA, easing to victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Oracle Arena.

The Western Conference leaders held a narrow advantage going into the fourth quarter before Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry led a late run to end any hope of a Cleveland comeback.

The Atlanta Hawks picked up their seventh win in a row after coming from behind to beat the in-form Detroit Pistons.

The visitors had been on a seven-game unbeaten run themselves, but Al Horford got the hosts back into the game, while a late rally from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope fell short for the Pistons.

The San Antonio Spurs needed a strong finish to beat the Phoenix Suns after letting a 14-point lead slip in the second half.

Eric Bledsoe had brought the visitors back into the game, but the defending NBA champions scored a season-high 41 in the final quarter to make sure of the victory.

The Indiana Pacers needed overtime to clinch a win after a strong fourth-quarter performance from the Boston Celtics.

It looked like the visitors might force a win after trailing for most of the game, but David West added a string of late baskets to force overtime before putting Indiana ahead in the extra period.

The Oklahoma City Thunder dominated the second half to pick up their first win in three outings, beating the Utah Jazz.

The hosts trailed at the break, but reigning league MVP Kevin Durant finished the game with 32, including a three-pointer late on to make sure of the win.

The Washington Wizards cruised to a win over the Chicago Bulls after opening up a huge lead early on.

John Wall made a quick start for the Wizards as the home side outscored Chicago 30-13 in the first quarter, before Pau Gasol briefly reduced the deficit in the second half ahead of a late run from Marcin Gortat.

Nerlens Noel made a dunk with just a few seconds on the clock to give the Philadelphia 76ers a narrow win over the Brooklyn Nets.

The Sixers fought back after Brooklyn had surged ahead early on before Michael Carter-Williams set up Noel for the basket with three seconds remaining, while Brook Lopez missed an effort on the buzzer.

The Denver Nuggets made it four wins in a row as they came from behind in the second half to beat the Sacramento Kings.

The visitors were down by six at the start of the third quarter, but Arron Afflalo and Ty Lawson each scored 22, while Kenneth Faried all but sealed the win with a three-pointer with six minutes still to play.

The Los Angeles Lakers picked up just their 12th win of the season as they brushed aside the Orlando Magic.

Kobe Bryant was rested for the game, but rookie Tarik Black added a career-high 14, while Jeremy Lin led the side with 18 as the team split the workload.

The New Orleans Pelicans picked up a comfortable win over the Memphis Grizzlies after opening up a big lead early on.

Anthony Davis led the home side to a 12-point advantage by the end of the first quarter, which the visitors never looked capable of overturning.

The Minnesota Timberwolves notched up their 14th straight defeat as the Milwaukee Bucks ended a four-game home losing streak of their own.

The hosts split the shooting duties, with four players reaching double figures, led by Brandon Knight with 14, while rookie Andrew Wiggins got some points back late on for the visitors.
