Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Sunday's games in the NBA.

The Golden State Warriors extended their unbeaten start to the season to 15 games with a comfortable win over the Denver Nuggets.

The reigning NBA champions made a fast start to the game, opening up an 11-point lead by the end of the first quarter, which the Nuggets never looked like overturning.

Klay Thompson led the scoring with 21 points, while the victory sees the Warriors tie the best start to an NBA season, with a chance to break the record on Tuesday.

The Los Angeles Clippers slipped to a third straight defeat as the Toronto Raptors wrapped up a comfortable win at the Staples Center.

Blake Griffin and Chris Paul were kept off the scoreboard during the opening 20 minutes, allowing DeMar DeRozan to pile on the points for the visitors.

The home side closed the gap to six points in the fourth quarter, but a run of points from Kyle Lowry and Luis Scola late on ensured that the Raptors held on for the win.

The Dallas Mavericks were beaten for the first time in seven games as they slipped to defeat to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Serge Ibaka helped the Thunder to an 11-point lead during the second quarter, but Dallas hit back after half time, with Deron Williams and Dwight Powell leading the visitors to a 79-69 lead.

However, Russell Westbrook found his rhythm in the fourth quarter to restore the home side's advantage, despite Dirk Nowitzki briefly giving the Mavericks some hope inside the last four minutes.

A series of late shots from Anthony Davis helped the New Orleans Pelicans beat the Phoenix Suns, handing them their third win of the season.

The sides were close throughout, and the scores were level with just over a minute remaining, after Davis had kept the Pelicans ahead throughout the final period, but a run of late free throws ensured that the home side saw out the win.

The Brooklyn Nets put their defeat to the Boston Celtics earlier this week behind them as they clinched victory in the second meetings between the two sides in three days.

The Nets opened up a 22-point lead in the second quarter, before Isaiah Thomas and Avery Bradley got the visitors back into the game, but Jarrett Jack saved 13 of his 22 points for the final 12 minutes to ensure that Brooklyn held on for the win.

The Portland Trail Blazers made it back-to-back wins as they defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, who have won just two of their 13 games so far this season.

Damian Lillard led the charge for the visitors, finishing the game with 30 points, while Kobe Bryant struggled as he tried to get the Lakers back into the game, making just six of his 22 shots from the field.

Results in full: Toronto Raptors 91-80 Los Angeles Clippers, Boston Celtics 101-111 Brooklyn Nets, Phoenix Suns 116-122 New Orleans Pelicans, Dallas Mavericks 114-117 Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors 118-105 Denver Nuggets, Portland Trail Blazers 107-93 Los Angeles Lakers
