The Houston Rockets have reportedly fired head coach Kevin McHale after a slow start to the NBA season.
The Rockets have lost their last four matches to slump to 4-7 after being the Western Conference's second seed last season.
According to Yahoo! Sports, JB Bickerstaff will become interim head coach, with Chris Finch his right-hand man.
McHale, who signed a three-year contract extension last year, was in charge of the Rockets for four full seasons, finishing with a record of 193-130, the highest of any Rockets head coach ever.
Before their recent four-game slide, the Rockets, last year's beaten Western Conference finalists, had become the first NBA team to lose their first three matches of a season by at least 20 points.
They improved to 4-3 with four straight wins, but another losing streak has resulted in the end of 57-year-old McHale's reign.
