The Indiana Pacers have confirmed that Andrew Bynum is no longer with the team after an injury ruled him out for the remainder of the playoffs.
The center joined the Eastern Conference's top seeds in February for the rest of the season, but has been able to play in just two games for the team.
The Pacers' president of basketball operations said: "We want to thank Andrew and our medical staff for trying to get the issues with his knee resolved. We wish him the best in the future."
Bynum began the season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but was traded to the Chicago Bulls, who later released him after he reportedly fell out with the team's coaching staff.
