The Indiana Pacers have signed Andrew Bynum for the remainder of the 2013-14 NBA season.
The center was traded to the Chicago Bulls after being suspended by the Cleveland Cavaliers in December, but was swiftly waived by his new team.
In a statement, the 26-year-old said: "It really wasn't a hard decision, I think it's the right fit for me and, in all honesty, I think we've got the best chance of winning.
"It will be great to back up Roy [Hibbert] and I'll do whatever I can to help this team."
Bynum averaged 8.4 points per game with the Cavaliers this season.
