Los Angeles Clippers star Jamal Crawford has sustained a minor strain, an MRI scan on his left calf has revealed.
The 33-year-old has been listed as day-to-day by the Clippers, but he is expected to miss as many as two or three games while recovering from the injury.
Crawford suffered the setback against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night, as he was unable to feature in the second half of the win which left coach Doc Rivers concerned.
The veteran is averaging 19 points, 3.2 assists and 2.3 rebounds this season, which is his most productive year since he was with the New York Knicks five years ago.
