Chris Paul has said that the Los Angeles Clippers need to stop talking about their defense and start performing on court.
The Clippers were beaten 107-97 by the Atlanta Hawks yesterday evening, leaving them with back-to-back defeats.
The point guard told reporters: "We've got to stop talking about it and we've got to figure out how were going to stop teams. I am surprised because we know what to do. That's the tough part about it. It's not on the coaches, it's on us in the locker room.
"Part of it's effort, part of it's pride. We've got to step it up. It's a long road trip, man. This is not a good start. You're not going to win too many games when you let the other team shoot 51% from the field."
The Clippers face the Memphis Grizzlies later today.
