Australia star Joe Ingles has reportedly signed a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Clippers after impressing the franchise with his performances at the FIBA World Cup 2014.
Ingles averaged 11.4 points and 3.4 assists per game through the tournament, and as a result attracted attention from a number of teams in the NBA.
However, the 26-year-old is understood to have opted to join the Clippers after turning down the Memphis Grizzlies last summer in order to continue to develop his game in Europe, ESPN reports.
Clippers coach Doc Rivers has signed a number of small forwards since arriving at the Staples Center, with Ingles also offering versatility after playing as a shooting guard during his career with the likes of Barcelona and Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Ingles played a key role for Australia in Spain this summer, helping them to the round of 16 before their defeat to Turkey.
