Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers praised Blake Griffin for a "phenomenal" display in the victory over the Golden State Warriors on Monday.
Griffin scored 35 points as a 138-98 win helped the Clippers level the playoff series at 1-1, and Rivers was impressed with how the 25-year-old kept it simple in the emphatic success.
"Blake took it when he had it, moved it when he didn't," the Los Angeles coach told reporters after the game. "He stayed on the attack, which is what we wanted.
"Great mental toughness by Blake. He was phenomenal."
Game three of the Western Conference first-round series takes place on Thursday.
