Kobe Bryant returned to training for the first time in seven months following a long battle with an Achilles injury.
The Los Angeles Lakers veteran trained with his teammates on Saturday but he declined to reveal any further information following the session.
However, a date is not expected to be set for Bryant's return to the court for at least a few more weeks, according to ESPN.
"He was out there making shots, basically being himself, just at a slower pace," Lakers guard Xavier Henry told reporters.
"He'll be all right sooner or later. He's of course not 100 percent, but to see him out there, it helps."
"He looked really good. He looked like Kobe," Pau Gasol revealed. "It was the first time he was actually out there, and I was very happy to see him. I'm looking forward to seeing him do more out there.
Bryant tore his Achilles tendon in a game against the Golden State Warriors in April.
