Steve Nash has claimed that he does not expect to spend much time on the sidelines after picking up an injury against the Chicago Bulls on Sunday.
The Los Angeles Lakers point guard, who collided with Kirk Hinrich in the third quarter of the defeat to the Bulls, has revealed that contact took place in the same area where he fractured his leg in 2012.
"I just took a knee to the spot where I broke my leg," Nash told reporters. "Ever since I did that I've had a lot of nerve issues there and it just really flared up on me.
"I don't think it's going to be a long-term thing at all. Hopefully it's something that can just settle down this week, hopefully by Tuesday."
