The Los Angeles Lakers have reportedly decided against picking up their option on Jordan Hill for the 2015-16 NBA season.
The power forward, who averaged 12 points per game in 70 appearances for the Lakers last season, would be due $9m (£5.7m) if he is kept on by the team for the next term.
Yahoo Sports reports that the Lakers are trying to create $24m (£15.1m) in salary cap space ahead of free agency, with the 27-year-old likely to be a casualty.
The Lakers hold the second overall pick in next week's NBA Draft.
