Memphis Grizzlies star Marc Gasol has promised that he will do everything to return to the court as quickly as possible.
The NBA's reigning defensive player of the year suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament during the loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night.
"They try to give me a week, three, four, six," Gasol said, according to ESPN.
"I don't care what number they say, I told them as soon as I can put my foot down on the floor and I can walk, I'm going to rush it and speed the process."
Gasol is expected to be on crutches for three to four weeks before he can begin his rehabilitation work.
