Miami Heat executive Pat Riley has called for his team to stick together in the wake of their NBA playoff final defeat to the San Antonio Spurs.
The Heat disappointed in the post-season encounter, having slumped to a 4-1 defeat against the Spurs, who needed just five of the seven scheduled games to claim the NBA Championship.
"This stuff is hard," said Riley, according to the NBA's official website.
"And you've got to stay together if you've got the guts. And you don't find the first door and run out of it."
Following the defeat, questions still loom about the future of LeBron James, who has said that he is going to use his summer vacation to think about his future.
