Miami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade has revealed that the playoff final matchup between his side and the Indiana Pacers is the game that everyone expected this season.
The two sides will square up on Sunday for Game One of the final, with the Pacers looking to avenge the Heat who eliminated them in six games of the second round in 2012.
"This is the matchup we envisioned. It seems like you could have just gotten to this point a long time ago," said Wade, according to the Miami Herald.
"It's the best matchup for us because they were the best team in the Eastern Conference this year, and we want to be the best team in the East when it's all said and done."
Game One will be played on Indiana's turf at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
