Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Flip Saunders has admitted that his side are concerned about an ankle injury sustained by point guard Ricky Rubio.
The 24-year-old fell awkwardly after attempting a surge for the basket in the second quarter of his side's defeat to the Orlando Magic, and will be re-evaluated ahead of his side's matchup against the Miami Heat.
Saunders told reporters: "He popped it pretty good. So we'll have to wait to see where it's at tomorrow. It swelled up high. You're always concerned about the possibility with high ankle-type sprain.
"We'll know more tomorrow. I know that Ricky, he'll do whatever he has to do to try to get back. He has an unbelievable work ethic."
The Timberwolves are 2-3 in their campaign going into their clash with the Heat.
