The Minnesota Timberwolves have announced the signing of veteran forward Tayshaun Prince ahead of the new season.
The Wolves agreed terms last week, with Prince joining on a one-year deal for the veteran minimum.
The 35-year-old averaged 7.5 points in 58 games last year for the Memphis Grizzlies, although he also had spells with the Detroit Pistons and Boston Celtics.
Timberwolves coach Flip Saunders insisted that he thinks Prince will help bring a defensive mindset that will benefit the youngsters on his roster.
Meanwhile, he suggested that he hopes his new arrival will have a similar impact to fellow veterans Kevin Garnett and Andre Miller.
