The agent of Carmelo Anthony has revealed that the New York Knicks power forward will "explore his options" in free agency.
The 30-year-old has reportedly opted out of the final year of his contract with the Knicks and will begin negotiating with potential suitors on July 1.
"Carmelo loves being a Knick, he loves the city and the fans," Anthony's agent Leon Rose told reporters. "At this stage of his career he just wants to explore his options."
Anthony was named in the NBA All-Star game of the 2014 season for the fourth-straight year.
