Former New York Knicks coach Larry Brown has claimed that the franchise have treated Mike Woodson unfairly at times this season.
The current head coach has had a difficult campaign as the Knicks have desperately searched for the form to secure a playoff spot, and Brown believes that there should have been more support for the man in charge.
"He's out on the limb and that's not fair," Brown told SiriusXM. "For a guy that really turned that franchise around and made people proud of the way they played, I don't think he's been treated fairly, and that really bothers me.
"He did a lot for that team, and that's unfortunate. I don't think you treat people like that. And in the long run there is bad karma when you do that."
The Knicks, whose record is 33-45 this season, are currently one place outside the playoff places in the Eastern Conference.
