The New York Knicks have announced that they completed a late trade to send Pablo Prigioni to the Houston Rockets.
The deal, which creates space on the team's salary cap, brings in shooting guard Alexey Shved and two second-round Draft picks in exchange for the veteran point guard.
After the deal was announced, Prigioni wrote on Twitter: "I want to thank the Knicks Family for giving me the opportunity to play for such an amazing organisation over the past few seasons.
"This was a great experience and it will always stay with me. I wish the organisation all the best in the future."
Prigioni has averaged just 4.7 points per game in 43 appearances for the Knicks this season, while Shved has 7.6 from 26 games in Houston.
