American basketball player Kobe Bryant has confirmed that a transfer to an Italian club is "very possible".
The Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard is currently looking for a move during the NBA lockout.
Virtus Bologna have offered the 33-year-old numerous contracts and Bryant revealed that discussions are planned to take place soon.
"It's very possible," Bryant told Gazzetta dello Sport. "It would be a dream for me.
"There's an opportunity that we've been discussing over the last few days.
"It's very possible and that's good news for me."
Bryant was part of the USA side that won Olympic Gold in 2008.
