Russell Westbrook has been diagnosed with a fractured hand following the Oklahoma City Thunder's defeat to the Los Angeles Clippers last night.
The guard left the 93-90 loss during the second quarter after being caught by a Kendrick Perkins elbow while going up for a rebound, returning to the bench midway through the third quarter with a bag of ice strapped to his hand.
The team, who are already missing reigning league MVP Kevin Durant with a foot injury, confirmed that an X-ray taken at the Staples Center revealed a small fracture in the second metacarpal in his right hand.
Westbrook will undergo further tests today to determine the full extent of the injury, and whether or not he will miss game time as a result.
