The Memphis Grizzlies needed overtime to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 111-105 in the second game of their playoff series on Monday night.
A strong performance from the Grizzlies was enough to level the series ahead of game three on Thursday, but the victory did not come as easily as it should have done.
Memphis lost a nine-point lead in the final quarter, before letting another five-point advantage slip in the closing stages as Kevin Durant, who scored 20 of his 36 points after the third quarter, inspired the Thunder to force overtime.
Zach Randolph finished the game with 25 points for the Grizzlies, and it was layup from him which earned them the lead in the final minute of the extra period.
The Thunder then missed a couple of shots at the crucial stage, before a quartet of free throws from Courtney Lee and Randolph secured the win for Memphis.
