Oklahoma City Thunder general manager Sam Presti has suggested that the organisation will look to re-sign center Enes Kanter.
Kanter averaged 18.7 points and 11 rebounds per game after he was traded to OKC from the Utah Jazz during the regular season.
"Enes is someone we are committed to seeing in a Thunder uniform moving forward," Presti said, according to The Oklahoman.
Other NBA teams are able to offer Kanter a deal, but the Thunder can match any offer made and will be in pole position to keep him.
With the salary cap rise in 2016, Presti noted the financial flexibility to offer their center a new deal this summer and still fall short of the luxury tax threshold.
