Brett Brown has insisted that the Philadelphia 76ers' spirit has not been broken by their worst ever start to an NBA campaign.
Their 110-103 loss to the Dallas Mavericks last night has left the team still looking for their first win and with an 0-16 record this season.
Brown told reporters: "I'm fine and I don't want those guys worrying about any record. We just have to keep our group together and move them along. I have so much respect for that group because their spirit has not been broken.
"We're heartbroken we haven't won. But down deep I feel like I know something that's going on that I like. I think they will be rewarded for the work they're putting in. I hope it's sooner than later to validate their efforts."
The Sixers are in action again on Monday when they host the NBA champions, the San Antonio Spurs.
