Phoenix Suns veteran Tyson Chandler has revealed that he would like to talk to Markieff Morris and try to smooth over his situation at the organisation.
Morris wants to quit the franchise after they traded his brother, Marcus, but the Suns have no intention of trading their starting power forward.
"Players play for players and the coaches. You have got a bond. Management has nothing to do with anything that goes on when you are on the court," Chandler said, according to the Arizona Republic.
"That's just my thoughts. I am not saying this for anything against Keef either. He is a man and he has to go through his own process. But he can be special and I know he will. I feel like all this stuff will be forgotten once we kick off and we are having success."
Coach Jeff Hornacek has echoed those sentiments, and believes that Morris will eventually come around and feature for the team in the new season.
