Phoenix Suns point guard Goran Dragic has admitted that Jeff Hornacek is making an instant impact as head coach of the team.
Hornacek, who became the Phoenix coach in May after two years as an assistant with the Utah Jazz, has impressed Dragic with his positive methods in pre-season.
"He teaches. He's a teaching coach," the Slovenian told reporters. "We have young guys and I think he can teach a lot to them.
"He's got a lot of experience and even if you make a mistake, he just tells you the right way to do it and after that he just lets you play. He doesn't tell you that you have to do this, this and this and be like a robot."
Hornacek spent six years in Phoenix as player between 1986 and 1992.
