Damian Lillard has said that the Portland Trail Blazers put their offense and defense together in the second half to cruise to a win over the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA.
The Trail Blazers came from four points down at half time to secure a 108-87 win over the Mavericks, leaving them with three victories from their first five games of the season.
Lillard, who scored 18 points, told reporters: "I think the best part about it was that we won on both ends of the floor. We defended really well in the first half, we just couldn't really get ourselves going like we would have liked to offensively. The second half, we put both ends together and that's why we were able to pull away."
Portland are in action again on Saturday night when they face the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center.
