Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Friday night's games in the NBA.

The Indiana Pacers sealed a win over the Portland Trail Blazers in overtime after coming from behind with a last-gasp effort in regulation.

George Hill added a three-pointer with eight seconds left to play to force overtime, finishing the game with a career-high 37 points.

Paul George, who had been kept quiet throughout the game, was able to step up in overtime, converting a steal to edge the Pacers ahead and set up the win.

A late effort from the Orlando Magic's Tobias Harris stunned the Oklahoma City Thunder, giving the hosts their fourth straight win at the Amway Center.

The league's top scorer, Kevin Durant, had a chance to seal the game in the final moments, but missed a jumper, allowing Victor Oladipo to set up the winning play for Harris.

The Los Angeles Lakers eased past the Philadelphia 76ers, giving them back-to-back wins.

Steve Nash, who was celebrating his 40th birthday, added a season-high 19 in just his eighth game of the campaign, as the Lakers finished strongly to make sure of the victory.

The New York Knicks won for the first time in four games, thrashing the Denver Nuggets at Madison Square Garden.

Carmelo Anthony was rested for the fourth quarter after adding 31 in the first three against his former team.

The Los Angeles Clippers raced to an early lead against the Toronto Raptors, which was enough to set the Pacific Division side up for the win.

Blake Griffin scored 19 of his 36 points in the first quarter, giving the Clippers a big enough cushion ahead of a strong second-half performance by the visitors.

A dominant first-half performance was enough for the Detroit Pistons to take a win against the Brooklyn Nets.

The hosts led by 23 points at half time, with Brandon Jennings and Andre Drummond both among the points, before Jason Terry and Mason Plumlee cut the advantage to single points, but the Pistons were able to see the game out.

The Dallas Mavericks thrashed the Utah Jazz to extend their winning run to four games.

Monta Ellis led the side with 22 points as the Mavericks quickly opened up a lead and never trailed after the first quarter.

Jared Sullinger played through a bruised hand and a dislocated finger to lead the Boston Celtics to a win over the Sacramento Kings.

Finishing with a career-high 31, Sullinger led a 15-0 spell at the start of the fourth quarter for the Celtics which put them out of reach for the Kings.

The New Orleans Pelicans came from behind in the fourth quarter to seal a win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The home side had been 10 points adrift in the final 12 minutes, but Anthony Davis led the Pelicans back into contention with a series of rebounds, while Eric Gordon had a late scoring run.

The Cleveland Cavaliers ended their six-game losing streak with a narrow win over the Washington Wizards.

Kyrie Irving battled through flu-like symptoms to give the visitors a comfortable lead early in the fourth quarter, before John Wall try to lead a late Washington comeback, but it was not enough.
