Great Britain's women's basketball team lost out 67-61 to their Russian counterparts at the London Olympics this afternoon.
Despite competing well with Russia throughout the contest, Team GB managed to emerge victorious from only one of the four quarters.
Evgeniya Belyakova was Russia's key player, claiming 12 baskets to help her side to claim the victory. Their other scorers were Marina Kuzina and Olga Arteshina.
Natalie Stafford was Team GB's top scorer with 18, while Johannah Leedham and Temi Fagbenle also contributed to the tally.
The defeat has left Britain bottom of Group B after two matches.
Their next match is against France on Friday.
