Dwane Casey of the Toronto Raptors and Memphis Grizzlies' Dave Joerger have been named as the first Coaches of the Month in 2014-15 for the Eastern and Western Conference respectively.
The duo are recognised for their efforts in the season-opening games at the end of October and throughout November.
Casey's Raptors lead the way in the East after a 13-4 start and have the second-best per game points differential (+9.6) behind the Golden State Warriors' +10.6.
Under Joerger, the Grizzlies are an NBA-best 15-2 and an impressive 11-0 against the tough Western Conference. They are also the only unbeaten side at home left in the league.
His side allowed 100 or more points on just four occasions and on average gave up a league-low 92.4 points per game.
Meanwhile, LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Clippers' forward Blake Griffin were named the latest NBA Players of the Week.
